Last winter I saw gators on Kiawah Island. Did I mention it's a nature preserve? It is. This is a momma gator sunning herself. Nope I didn't flip her over to look. I know because this little guy was my next photo
If you look closely you will see the baby gator on the log. While they are dangerous and you are warned there are people to try to antagonize them. I did not see a gator the first year down there and it was much warmer the first year. I will miss seeing them in early spring.
